Panna cotta is a perfect Italian Summer dessert. It is refreshing, tasty and you can make it with any fresh berries or fruits which are on season.
Duration:
30 minutes + 3 hours chilling
Ingredients:
- 4 gelatin sheets
- 1/2 vanilla stick
- Water as needed
- 100 g sugar
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- Fresh fruits optional
Panna Cotta Preparation:
- Firstly, add gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water and soak for 10 minutes. Then drain and squeeze. Then, cut the vanilla and remove the seeds. Add seeds to a pan with cream and sugar on high heat. Next, whisk the sauce as you bring it to boil.
- Secondly, remove mixture from heat and stir in the gelatina sheets until melted and fully combined. Pour mixture into small molds and refrigerate for about 3 hours.
- Thirdly, remove panna cotta from the fridge and put molds in a hot water bowl, make sure that water don’t go over the top. Remove panna cotta from the molds by turning it down on a plane. Garnish it with fresh fruits, caramel, nuts or your toppic of choice.
